What is the difference between HDMI Cables?
I need a 12 foot HDMI cable. I see prices from 12.00 to 249.00. Is there really a difference between a 12.00 cable and a 250.00 cable?
No there is not. Various consumer watch dog groups did tests on that a while back. The cheap cables always performed equal to the expensive ones. There is 0 value in expensive cables in the HDMI format.
Use amazon.com, monoprice.com, newegg.com, bluejeanscable.com, or where ever and stick with no-name brand HDMI cables. As long as they are rated to 1.3 or 1.4 (which really all are these days), then you’re good to go.
